This kit provides a .8mm VHDCI external SCSI connection at the back of the IBM eServer xSeries 255 and 235 servers. By enabling the routing of an internal SCSI channel in the x255 or x235 to the back of the system, this kit enables the SCSI channel to function as an external port.
