The LevelOne WAC-2000 is a Gigabit WLAN controller designed for use in small to medium-sized networks in SMEs, schools, guest houses, hotels and apartments. The centralized management of up to 50 APs provides complete wireless security and service solutions for any small to medium sized wireless network.
The WAC-2000 integrates a variety of functions that allow the administrator to easily set up the AP configuration, including tag-based VLAN settings, update the AP firmware and monitor the AP status and the number of connected APs and users.
The WAC-2000 controller is also an Internet gateway with robust firewall for intrusion protection, 1 WAN and 4 LAN ports in Gigabit speed enable fast and reliable distribution of data in the network. The captive portal function provides an easy way to share websites with guest users.
The LevelOne WAC-2000 also supports real-time control of signal strength and interference information. With the results, the WAC-2000 automatically regulates traffic load, output power, RF coverage and channel distribution of APs to optimize wireless coverage and throughput.
