The Extron MTP T 15HD A Twisted Pair Transmitter with EDID Minder sends high resolution video and audio signals to a compatible MTP receiver. The MTP T 15HDA features EDID Minder, which automatically manages EDID communication to ensure that the source powers up properly and reliably outputs content for display. It accepts computer-video, HD and standard definition video and audio inputs on female 15-pin HD connectors and 3.5 mm stereo audio jacks. The video and summed mono audio signals are transmitted over a single CAT 5-type cable to a compatible twisted pair receiver. The MTP T 15HD A also features a local monitor output for systems that require a local display.
Extron MTP 15HD A transmitters and receivers precisely optimize image quality for various CAT 5-type cable lengths using adjustment controls on both the transmitter and receiver. The transmitters feature a pre-peaking switch that provides additional compensation at the front end for the longest cable runs. The receivers offer continuously variable gain and peaking controls, allowing users to dial in the exact amount of gain and peaking required for each unique cable run.
