BlueNet BN2000 has a space-saving shape factor and state-of-the-art means of monitoring the data center infrastructure. As well as measuring the current, voltage and power, external sensors can also be used to monitor temperature and air humidity. The values are either queried via an Ethernet interface on every PDU or via the Ethernet interface of the Power Line Concentrator. This is turn queries up to 500 PDUs using Power Line Communication. Savings are made in terms of wiring costs and Ethernet infrastructure.
