The Lindy DVI to DisplayPort converter converts signals from a DVI-D equipped source into a DisplayPort signal. It supports resolutions up to 1920 x 1200 and is ideal for connecting legacy PCs with a DVI-D video output to newer DisplayPort displays and projectors in offices, meeting rooms and classrooms.
The compact dimensions mean it can be easily installed in restricted spaces, allowing for tidy installation behind projectors and displays. The converter provides connectivity without the expense of having to replace legacy PCs and cabling when upgrading to modern projectors or displays.
This converter can also be used to add a secondary monitor for extended or mirrored desktop modes to increase productivity and screen real estate. Plug-and-Play, it is quick and easy to use as it can be powered by the DVI port on the source device. In cases where power from the DVI port is insufficient, a USB port or external USB power supply can be used to provide additional power.
