Samyang 16mm f/2.0 ED AS UMC CS is an ultra-wide-angle manual focus lens designed for CS / cropped-sensor APS-C cameras. The Samyang 16mm is a rectilinear lens offering superb image quality and low distortion. It is perfectly suited for cropped-sensor cameras and for landscape and general photography.
Optical construction is 13 elements in 11 groups, with 1 aspherical lens, 1 extra-low dispersion (ED) element and 1 hybrid aspherical lens. Samyang's UMC Ultra Multi coating ensures superb transmission of light and minimizes flare and ghosting.

The Samyang 16mm f/2.0 accepts 77mm filters and can use ND, polarizers or any filter with a 77mm filter thread. The Samyang 16mm features a wide, ribbed manual focus ring which is smooth and well-damped and provides a positive manual focus.
