The Multi-Switch Interconnect Module doubles the number of simultaneous interconnects of the HS21, LS21/41, and JS21 blades when used together with Combination Form Factor (CFF) expansion cards. It provides the ability for standard switch modules to be used in the horizontally-oriented high speed bays of the BladeCenter H chassis.
The Multi-Switch Interconnect Module leverages the full ecosystem of standard form factor Ethernet and Fiber Channel switch modules that are used across entire BladeCenter family of chassis. Double High form factor fits into the high-speed I/O bays of the BladeCenter H.
